Meet the artist

Hello, my name is Russell.

A few years ago, I was living far away from my true self.

I had stepped away from creativity, choosing a life that felt safe and expected, while quietly doubting my own abilities. I worked hard, tried to convince myself I was happy, and found small ways to be creative, even though something always felt missing. Over time, the pressure to prove my worth became overwhelming, and I knew change was no longer optional.

By returning to nature and allowing myself to create again, I found calm, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. Today, I make art inspired by the natural world, with the hope of bringing comfort, connection, and a gentle pause to the lives of others.

Working from my studio in the Netherlands, I create art that invites you to break from the noise of everyday life and brings a sense of calm, comfort, and connection to nature into your space.

Much of my work is inspired by quiet moments, small details in the natural world, and a feeling of nostalgia for slower, simpler times.

I create both digitally and with acrylic on canvas, allowing me to balance modern techniques with a traditional, hands-on approach.

My digital pieces are printed locally in the same country as each customer, helping to reduce carbon emissions and making the process more environmentally considerate. This way of working feels aligned with my values of care, intention, and respect for the world that inspires my art.

I began creating in this way after realising there was too much noise in my own life, and that nature and creativity were what helped me find my calm and feel grounded again.

Through my work, I hope to offer you that same quiet moment of stillness and connection.
